One of rugby league’s most well known and best-loved personalities, Ray French, was a welcome visitor to Reactive Audio studios today..
As part of a joint project between Red Facilities of Edinburgh and Leith, Reactive Audio’s ISDN studio was chosen to produce the voice track for a TV sponsorship campaign.
A series of TV commercials were commissioned by A G Barr Ltd as part of the current IRN BRU Rugby League sponsorship. The first ad will go to air this Friday on SKY Sports.
Ray’s voice was chosen due to his strong connection with rugby league. Prior to commencing his carreer in broadcasting in 1974, Ray was a top player for clubs such as St Helens & Widnes. He also captained Great Britain on three occasions.
Reactive Audio was chosen to partner in the project due to our excellent facilities and emerging reputation as being one of the friendliest studio’s outside of Manchester.
